Ron told the board that Anchor Point Planning (formed by Wes Mloud) is under contract and that the July meeting will include a new scope presentation from the consultant. Ron confirmed that a resident survey is included in Anchor Point’s scope. Board members were advised to prepare written suggestions before the July meeting so the consultant and staff can codify a scope letter. Ron cautioned that any added work beyond the contracted scope that increases cost would require town council approval and additional funding.
Members discussed potential supplemental technical consultants for topics such as bicycle and pedestrian planning and flagged budget constraints; a funding figure of roughly $50,000 was mentioned in discussion but not confirmed as a contract amount.
