She said PATH provided $1 million to the county’s broadband authority and supported regional transportation collaboration and Rapid Home, among other local efforts.
"We were formed as a result of the sale of the hospital back in 2013," Connelly said, and described the foundation’s grantmaking and technical assistance. She told supervisors PATH’s asset base has grown; "we are now at close to $290 million," and she noted a $15 million gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott.
Supervisors thanked PATH representatives for funding that helped advance broadband construction in the county and suggested PATH focus on local needs given the many county initiatives the foundation already supports.
Connelly said PATH provides grants and in‑kind technical assistance, including meeting space and an internship program that places paid interns with local nonprofits. She encouraged nonprofits and residents who need help to contact PATH Community Link.
