On March 3 the Douglas County Board approved its consent agenda, which included a reallocation of a 25/26 visitor improvement fund grant for the Omaha Sports Commission. Katherine Hall of County Administration said one of the funded events changed dates and fell outside the award period; the sports commission requested reallocating that amount to listed alternative events. Commissioners expressed general support for the Sports Commission's work and moved to be flexible so funds can still serve local events.
The consent agenda passed 6‑0. County administration said the reallocation was handled according to the attachment in the packet and the board did not request further study.
