Treasurer Mr. Jenkins presented a consent slate that included the January 2026 financials, donations of 46 document cameras from a PTO, approval of Feb. 5 meeting minutes, an amended FY26 permanent appropriation resolution, and a restated 403(b) plan document; the board approved the slate by roll call. The board also approved a standalone slate of board of revision resolutions addressing selected commercial and industrial property assessments, which the treasurer said helps equalize tax burdens and is not directed at residential taxpayers.
Business and facilities director Mr. Gordon briefed the board on capital and operations items: the district will approve a travel plan required for Safe Routes to School grant applications with Orange Township, pursue a mobile lease to add two modular classrooms at Indian Springs Elementary (bringing that site to six temporary classrooms) to accommodate roughly 150–175 students over capacity, accepted a favorable early bid for asphalt work, and approved the purchase of a chiller for Glenn Oak Elementary. Mr. Gordon also described a continuation of a pre‑annexation agreement for utilities at the High School 5 site; Delaware Township trustees and the city are scheduled to consider their approvals in mid‑March, after which the county would act.
The board voted to convene an executive session under Ohio Revised Code §121.22(G)(1) to consider employment/compensation and appointments; members said they would not take substantive action upon return. The board returned from executive session at about 9:07 p.m. and adjourned.
