Temple City reports $5.5 million in recent road work; pavement product held up in rain tests

He said staff used a product called “AAM” (described as a dense, durable surface treatment) in some test sections; following recent heavy rains, field reviews found the material holding up well.
The manager said the city will present an updated pavement-management plan to the council in January to show progress and remaining challenges. He also thanked specific staff and contractors named during the update.
The city did not provide a line-item breakdown of the $5.5 million in the meeting; staff said they will provide a pavement-management update in January with additional details.
