Mount Foster Closet says downtown renovation will reopen services after roughly $200,000 in work

"We service over 2,000 kids a year in care and their associated brothers and sisters and other family members," Hoer said, and described providing more than $1.8 million in direct aid in a recent nine-month period prior to a temporary closure.
Commissioners acknowledged and thanked the nonprofit for its work and encouraged public support; no formal action or funding request was recorded during the public comment segment.
