Leminger said the program consistently uses external grant funding and networking to expand opportunities and emphasized the instructional value of small-group enrichment. She told the board she is retiring and urged the district to maintain a dedicated coordinator role so students continue to have equitable access to advanced-learning experiences; "I am still an advocate for the students," she said.
