School committee approves donated blankets for Class of 2026

The committee unanimously approved a private donation of woven "throws" for every graduating senior (Oliver Ames, private and homeschooled students included) and authorized distribution at class night.
The Easton School Committee voted March 12 to accept a private donation of graduation blankets to be distributed to the Class of 2026.
Ann Marie Taylor introduced the donation, describing the finished sample and noting private funding for the project. "My name is Ann Marie Taylor ... we got private donations and this is the blanket that we would like approval on," she said. The donor group asked the committee to approve ordering blankets so distribution can occur at senior class night; committee members praised the effort and asked for a motion.
A motion to approve the donation was made and seconded (Percio second) and the chair called for a vote: "All in favor?" The committee recorded unanimous approval and thanked the donors.
