Torrington council awards equipment bids and approves police car purchase

Police vehicle: Chief Johnson requested approval to purchase a used 2018 Dodge Charger from the town of Fort Laramie for $6,000 to replace a patrol vehicle with a failed transmission. After discussion of fleet strategy and repair costs, council approved immediate payment and the purchase.
