Aberdeen Town appoints two members to Downtown Advisory Board

At the Feb. 23 meeting the Aberdeen Town Board approved two appointments to the Downtown Advisory Board.
Staff presented two applications for posts with terms expiring in January 2028: Mr. Fraser for post 6 and Jerry Palmer for post 7. Commissioners moved and seconded the nominations and approved both appointments by voice vote. The manager noted that Ashley Campbell, currently an alternate, does not qualify for a full seat because she lives in Sanford and not within the town's residency requirement for those positions.
The appointing motion passed without roll-call vote and commissioners asked staff to notify the appointees and proceed with onboarding.
