District staff propose keeping facility fees flat and adding $250 snow-removal charge

In response, a committee member said, “I think it was 250.” Mr. Shepard said that if groups notify staff in a timely way, snow-removal can be canceled or postponed and the group would not be charged. He added that those terms would be written into the user agreement.
The staff’s immediate plan is to keep baseline facility fees flat for one year and add the snow-removal component, with the intention of negotiating and fixing longer-term rates with the CBA later in the year.
The committee did not take a formal vote on fee changes at this meeting; staff said it will present the same fee schedule next week and return with negotiated terms for board consideration in December.
