Dr. Hatter told the board that confirmations to families will be sent this week and noted registrations are contingent on state funding. He spelled out eligibility criteria for remaining seats: families must reside within district boundaries and children must be four years old by Dec. 1, 2026.
The superintendent announced the district's partnership with the YMCA will continue for another year to operate aspects of UPK. He also urged families seeking district transportation to or from private schools or daycare to submit requests to the transportation office by April 1; he described that date as a "very firm deadline."
