Select Board members expressed consistency concerns. Paul Warren asked whether the entertainment license cover only indoor activity; Fran (the proposed manager) confirmed the plan is for indoor entertainment. Warren then moved to restrict the entertainment license to indoor areas; the motion passed (3–1–1 with one abstention).
The board then approved the full package of license applications (change of ownership interest, common victualler, entertainment as conditioned, alteration of premises, change of manager and alternate manager). Members emphasized that existing noise bylaws and town enforcement would still apply should outdoor sound cause complaints.
What happens next: The applicant will operate under the indoor-only entertainment condition; licensing staff and enforcement departments will monitor complaints and compliance.
