Board members repeatedly said they preferred avoiding measures that make county policy more restrictive than statute and they supported coordinating signage so the judicial branch can post notices for spaces it controls. The board voted to remove county signage now and to schedule the amended policy for final consideration next week so the sheriff can review and provide input.
