Board members discussed quorum concerns for the special-permit portion and agreed to target the March 12 meeting while noting a reschedule would be posted if a quorum was not available.
During public comment the board reiterated that comments specifically about Glendale Road must wait until the reopened hearing. Despite that instruction, resident Mimi Agers of 97 Glendale Road spoke about conditions on her street, saying a pickup truck passed her on a narrow stretch at roughly 50 mph while she was driving 30. "a very big pickup truck literally passed me on a very narrow road going about 50 miles an hour as I was doing 30," she said, and added that she had not received notification about projects in the area.
Councilor Stratton also raised procedural concerns, saying the situation "raises a number of open meeting law issues that may need some looking into" regarding how the board handled early public comment and the interrupted audio connection at the meeting's start.
The board directed staff to publish the rescheduled hearing date and time; online participants were told to rejoin the meeting on March 12 and that the board would reschedule again if quorum was not met. No substantive review of the Glendale Road special permit occurred during this session because the hearing was not opened.
