The Town Council voted unanimously to approve a resolution assigning the town's planning, zoning and land use services to Complete City's Planning Group, the successor entity to Trans Systems Corporation.
Deborah read the resolution into the record and staff said the vote formalized a previously approved assignment triggered by the departure of the prior planner. "This is just a belt and suspenders to get it done," one staff member said, explaining the council had anticipated the transition when the original procurement resolution was adopted.
Council members recorded their votes in roll call: Jablonsky, Kazinski, Al Brittain, Vice Mayor Hartman and Mayor Breit Cruz all voted yes. No public comment was offered on the resolution before the vote.
The resolution authorizes the mayor, town administrator and town attorney to execute any necessary assignment documents and provided for an effective date upon execution. Council discussion characterized the measure as administrative and procedural.
