Southwest Ranches council approves use agreement amendment, disaster contractors and transportation funding guarantee

Council also approved an amended and restated interlocal agreement with Broward County that establishes a minimum annual guarantee from the county's transportation surtax proceeds for member cities. Staff described the town's projected share from the guaranteed pool as roughly $500,000 per year (presented as an annualized estimate rather than a guaranteed fixed figure for all future cycles).
