Council approves water/sewer consent for 6903 Hancock and hires police civilian coordinator

1) Water and sewer consent: The council approved a resolution consenting to the City of Pembroke Pines providing water and sewer service to 6903 Hancock Road, with explicit language that any further expansion of service requires written consent from the town. The vote was recorded as: Council member Jablonsky — yes; Council member Kazinski — yes; Council member Albritain — yes; Vice Mayor Hartman — yes; Mayor Bright Cruz — yes.
2) Police civilian coordinator: Council approved an agreement to employ Carlos Gra de Paratha for police civilian coordinator services and authorized the mayor, town administrator and town attorney to execute the agreement. Carlos was present and was welcomed by council.
Both items passed without public comment or recorded dissent. Staff will complete contract execution and provide records to the council as required.
