The Erie Planning Commission voted to approve final land-development plans for a proposed three-story administration building for the Erie Housing Authority at 1032 Parade Street.
Adam Honey of Leair Associates and architect Christy Van Dyke said the building will relocate Erie Housing Authority administrative offices from 606 Holland Street into a three-story facility with office, training and boardroom space. Honey described the proposed building footprint as approximately 5,436 square feet (plus-or-minus) with associated parking and stormwater-management systems.
City staff reported no outstanding comments from review; commissioners had no substantive outstanding issues and approved final land development by motion and second. The approval is final at the planning-commission level and any required permits or site recordings remain to be handled before construction.
Next steps: applicants will proceed with required recordation and permitting as noted by the Bureau staff.
