The Erie Planning Commission approved a final minor subdivision to allow Emma's Ministries to purchase an adjacent parcel at 202 East 11th Street and use it to relocate dumpsters and protect the existing driveway and building foundation from refuse-truck damage.
Shad Synindel of Verdantis said the lot will remain vacant and gravel and that the ownership change is intended to preserve concrete next to the soup kitchen by storing dumpsters at the rear. Commissioners asked whether the new area would be paved and were told the lot will remain gravel. The commission moved and approved final subdivision.
