Developer-built Oakdale park moves forward; commission asked to consider names

A color rendering in the commission packet shows the park layout, wetland open space and the distribution of concrete trails. Staff said the playground palette will be similar to existing local parks (an inverted color scheme from Willowbrook) and that the final playground vendor will propose color and design details for staff approval.
Staff asked commissioners to begin thinking about name suggestions and referred them to the city's naming policy (sections 10 and 11) included in the packet. No official name was chosen; staff said they will return with parameters from council and bring a naming item to a future commission agenda so members can submit suggestions in time for council consideration.
