Board approves five-year contract with International Association of Fire Fighters through Dec. 31, 2028

The Board of Trustees approved a five-year collective bargaining agreement with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) that will govern terms for the township fire department workforce through Dec. 31, 2028, Supervisor Amry Graham Hudek said.

Hudek characterized the agreement as a five-year partnership that supports the fire department's workforce; the supervisor summary did not provide contract financial details, specific contractual changes, or a vote tally in the summary report.

The supervisor emphasized ongoing collaboration with unions as important to the board but did not elaborate on benefit, wage, staffing or budget impacts in the summary.
