Staff said the selected vendor ranked highest in demonstrations and offered local support/service agreements; the purchase was within the $630,000 motorpool budget line.
Councilmember Walker moved to approve the purchase; the motion was seconded and passed on roll call, 5-0 (Walker, Deore, Knock/Knobrop, Wilmont, Murphy recorded in favor). Councilmembers expressed interest in seeing the vehicle in service and noted it as an investment that will reduce contracted excavation costs over time.
