Commissioners discussed whether to treat the herd for ringworm and to deworm animals given a 30-day withdrawal period for certain drugs; the board authorized the worming and treatment to protect animal health. Shelter staff also reported a near 99% live-safety rate in the shelter computer system and said they are close to reaching formal 'no-kill' status with continued monitoring.
