Council appoints Tyler Travis to Parks & Rec, Ron Schneerson to Planning Commission

"We reviewed his application and interviewed him; we think he is a good candidate," one council member said before a motion to appoint carried on a roll-call vote.
Ron Schneerson was appointed to the Planning Commission, position No. 1, with a term expiring April 1, 2030. Councilors noted Schneerson's long-standing attendance at meetings and his interest in city issues. A council member who had met Schneerson recommended the appointment and the council approved it unanimously.
Both motions were moved and seconded on the consent of council and adopted by roll-call votes with no recorded no votes or abstentions.
