Lieutenant General David Furnace, superintendent of VMI, testified that he appreciates the work with members and supports the amendment and the bill: "We appreciate Delegate Kiggans working with us to amend the bill in the House and for the amendment here as well... I support this bill."
Senators moved and seconded the motion to recommend the bill for reporting to the full committee; the subcommittee recorded the recommendation. The amendment and the bill were advanced for further consideration.
