Kokomo City board approves fire‑station pay apps, extends crack‑seal contract

On nuisance properties, staff member Chelsea reported that listed properties remain in violation and requested permission for city crews to enter and remove abated items at 103 North Bell Street and 1210 North Webster Street. The board approved the request by motion.
Clint Benadder, superintendent of the Public Maintenance and Refuge Department, recommended a contract extension with Pavement Solutions Incorporated for the 2026 crack‑seal season at $130 per pound, not to exceed $149,999, saying the work could not be completed in 2025 because of excessive rain.
