The Scott County Advisory Plan Commission discussed correcting an omission in ordinance 2025-OR-10 by adding easement language drawn from a 2002-1A ordinance. Commissioners raised questions about acreage, setbacks and width-to-depth ratio related to the amendment and asked for the proposed language in written legal form before voting.
County Attorney Carla Ginn was asked to research the most recent easement ordinance language and prepare a written amendment for the April meeting. The commission then voted unanimously to table the matter until April; the formal motion to table was made by J.R. Ward and seconded by Mark Gardner.
Because the commission requested written wording before a substantive vote, no ordinance change was adopted at the March meeting.
