Chairlady Rudder presented Senate Joint Resolution 1022, which would provide for installation of a bust in the state capitol honoring Anne M. Davis, described in the resolution as a founding mother of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. "This resolution is to provide for the installation of a bust in the state capitol to honor Anne M. Davis," Chairlady Rudder said and stood ready for questions; none were raised. The resolution was advanced to Finance, Ways and Means by voice vote (vote recorded in the hearing as 15 ayes, 0 nays).
