Commission approves series of budget appropriations and grant amendments including school and sheriff funding

Commissioners amended some resolution language to correct clerical errors and to reflect the true source of funds (for example, changing a recruitment-and-retention grant reference to a Tennessee POST deputy-supplement source). The audit committee minutes were acknowledged; staff said an accountant has been hired to correct audit adjustments and that the committee will revisit progress at the June meeting.
