"This replaces the AUP, which is the acceptable use. Any employees or students who utilize technology here in the system sign off on this document and this takes into account some changes associated with artificial intelligence," Dr. Martin said.
After a motion and second, the board approved the policy by voice vote. The document was presented as a recommendation for immediate adoption; the board did not record a roll‑call tally in the public transcript.
District staff will proceed with implementation steps for the updated document, including signatures from employees and students as appropriate.
