East Brunswick board honors students, PTAs and music programs at June meeting

The board also adopted a resolution thanking the district’s PTAs for fundraising and volunteer work across 11 schools and named numerous PTA presidents. Individual music and arts recognitions named students and their teachers, including Jessica Hong, Kenny Sha, Maria Mueller, and Brian Toth among others; staff and advisers read student names as recipients accepted commendations.
A motion to move all resolutions was made and carried earlier in the meeting; the resolutions were read and accepted without separate roll‑call votes recorded in the transcript. The board closed the evening with committee reports, expressions of thanks to staff and volunteers, and adjournment.
