The board’s new-business item named Miss Wadia Ivory as the district’s representative to the Intermediate Unit, with a term from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. Other individuals listed by the board for election by their home districts included Bob Hornberger (Springfield), Barbara Harvey (Marble New Town), Latonia/Latana Lee (Habford), and Tracy Carowski (Garden Valley). The board did not hold a vote and said the resolution would be acted on at the next business meeting.
Separately, the board discussed appointing up to three voting delegates to attend the PEZBA delegate assembly, scheduled as an in-person event on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Cumberland County School District (no virtual option). Several board members volunteered to attend and the board agreed to finalize delegate names before the assembly.
The item will return for a formal vote at the next business meeting; no election was completed April 20.
