Miss Stone introduced the update and Dr. Premisculli told the committee that all focus groups are complete and the engagement produced themes that staff and the consultant are consolidating. "It truly is a three question survey that will take three minutes or less," Dr. Premisculli said, adding that the survey is intended to help prioritize themes and ensure the planning team did not miss issues stakeholders raised. The district will analyze results with its consultant and administrative teams and preview the strategic plan for the district strategic advisory team and the Committee of the Whole in June, then seek adoption at the June Board of Education meeting.
Board members asked how to access the survey; staff said it was distributed via social media, principals' newsletters, the district email and the village e‑newsletter. Staff encouraged wide participation and said invitations for a separate student recognition event (to be held before the May board meeting) will be sent soon. The transcript records logistical clarifications and expressions of appreciation for stakeholder participation, not substantive policy debate.
