Fernley planners hear resident complaints about Sunrise Trails construction; staff to present Farm District traffic model

Planning staff said a corridor study and traffic‑demand model were recently completed and that consultants would brief the commission at the next meeting or in June. Commissioner Flores suggested the city explore conducting a local census to obtain more-accurate population figures as Fernley grows; staff agreed to investigate where to start.
No formal votes were taken on these matters; staff committed to follow up with code enforcement on site conditions and to schedule the traffic-model presentation for an upcoming meeting.
