Parking/surfacing: Councilors debated a parking/surfacing plan for a downtown development where staff reported 81 stalls designed versus a required 77. Members discussed whether to retain 90° stalls (which would yield one additional space) or move to angled stalls to improve maneuverability near a bank drive‑thru. Planning staff and the planning commission recommended angled stalls; council approved the parking/surfacing plan with direction for staff to finalize the angle delineation and confirm ADA and bicycle parking remain compliant.
