Beaumont Unified trustees conducted two public hearings on labor negotiation proposals and then voted to adopt both the district’s initial proposal to the California School Employees Association (CSEA) and the CSEA Chapter 351 initial proposal. Both hearings drew no public comment; motions to adopt were made and carried unanimously.
During the Human Resources portion of the agenda the board approved a revision to the certificated substitute salary schedule and accepted the certificated, classified and administrative personnel assignment orders listed on reports dated Aug. 6, 2024. Each item was moved, seconded and approved by a 5–0 vote.
Board members recorded no substantive debate on the items during the meeting. A trustee noted a brief technical issue with a board member’s video feed during one vote, but the clerk confirmed the vote carried 5–0 on each action.
The personnel assignment orders and revised salary schedule will be administered by district human-resources staff; the meeting did not disclose individual compensation details in the public record.
