Fred Yuber read a letter he had prepared urging Tenon Farms and its HOA not to gate service entrances at El Portal and Chavis Road, saying gated operation could push trucks and delivery vehicles into neighboring private drives. Stacy Rael, a local veterinarian, asked for clarity on whether the Village Center project would intrude into Los Ranchos Open Spaces and expressed concern about impacts on migrating birds and other wildlife.
What staff said: Staff encouraged residents with enforcement or technical traffic questions to follow up with Mr. Williams to identify whether traffic studies or code enforcement actions are warranted. The commission did not take action on these public‑comment requests during the session but directed staff to log and follow up on them.
