Summary

During the public-comment portion of the May 13 meeting, residents representing Faucet Lane described deteriorated pavement, potholes and narrow lanes that force vehicles — including delivery and emergency vehicles — to pull off the roadway. A resident spokesperson asked the council for coordinated repair and said prior promises to patch the road had not materialized.
City staff acknowledged the problem, explained constraints on asphalt availability and described interim approaches (cold-mix patches leading to a future chip-seal when conditions allow). Staff said county coordination may be needed in places where jurisdiction overlaps and that the issue is on the city's work list.
Separately, resident Crystal Stokes submitted a packet and urged immediate revocation of the home-occupied business license and conditional-use permit for a business called "Made For You." Stokes said she worked at the business, discovered alleged financial misconduct including theft from employees, resigned and then experienced harassment from neighbors; she said commercial cameras were installed pointing at her minor daughter's bedroom window. Stokes asked the council to investigate and examine the conditional‑use permit and provided documentation for council review. Council said the item would be placed on a future agenda rather than be considered during public comment.
No council action to revoke the license was taken at the meeting; the mayor and staff noted they would follow regular agenda processes for reviewing licensing concerns.
