Board hears facilities bond progress, seeks clearer budgeting for upcoming HVAC work

Staff said some buildings slated for modernization will not receive HVAC investments that would be wasted, and that phasing plans and implementation documents will provide the necessary baseline for contract approvals. Trustees asked for concise contract summaries with clear budget impact language and a defined threshold for when items require additional board time for review.
The board moved a motion to approve two contracts as presented (motion recorded) and discussed scheduling further implementation plan review in March.
