Story County adopts final Capital Improvements Plan through FY2031

The Story County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted the county’s final Capital Improvements Plan (CIP) for projects through fiscal year 2031 during its May 5 meeting.
Sandra King, who presented the plan, said public input did not request any changes to the current year’s CIP and that the plan will be posted with an interactive story map on the county website. The CIP is a multi‑year guide for construction, facility improvements and equipment acquisition.
A supervisor moved and the board approved the final CIP by voice vote. No amendments were recorded at the meeting; staff said they will continue to publish details and timelines for individual projects as implementation begins.
