Iatala, reflecting on the milestone, said: "Earning my 100th win felt amazing. I was really happy. I was really overjoyed hearing my family, my coaches, my teammates cheering for me. That was great. I loved it." She credited teammates and coaches for setting a supportive environment that helped her improve from early struggles as a freshman.
Officials noted Iatala’s academic standing and career preparation: speakers said she participated in the Hearnden Career Center and planned to attend Summit Tech for nursing studies after graduation. The board presented the Raytown Ray of Hope recognition and called Iatala a role model for younger athletes in the district.
