District unveils Measure G dashboard to show bond project budgets and schedules

The Mill Valley School District’s facilities team demonstrated a newly developed Measure G dashboard intended to provide the public with up‑to‑date financial and schedule information for bond projects.
Julia Royal, director of maintenance, operations and safety, introduced the dashboard and said it will display high‑level project budgets, committed and expended amounts, and schedule milestones for each site. Program staff demonstrated drill‑downs showing budget, amounts encumbered vs. expended, and remaining balances, and said the dashboard will include links to the district’s facilities pages but will not host detailed construction drawings.
Trustees expressed interest in sharing the dashboard with the community and asked whether documents such as drawings could be linked; staff said links to the facilities site would be embedded and the dashboard’s primary purpose is schedule and budget transparency.
The dashboard was shown as a work‑in‑progress to be integrated into the district’s new website platform; staff said the Citizen Bond Oversight Committee had reviewed the tool and staff will provide access when the website transition is complete.
