Public commenter urges distribution of documents alleging election interference
Summary

"My name is James Johnson," he said, and described himself as a "Christian patriotic constitutional" Vietnam veteran. He urged the council to give his written materials to every household in Maran, saying the documents would "stop election interference" and help "expose treason to the United States." Johnson framed his remarks in religious terms and referenced conspiracy themes regarding Freemasonry and other organizations; he said distributing the materials should be done "shortly" and not procrastinated.
The council accepted his opportunity to speak and received the handouts; no council action was taken on the request during the meeting and the agenda proceeded to the consent items.
