Disc-golf volunteers urge Sandpoint to explore purchase or partnership to save Baldi Mountain course

He said the association would partner with the city to fundraise and secure donor commitments if staff would pursue acquisition using impact fees or other mechanisms.
Eric Nelson, president of the Great Northern Disc Golf Association, described youth programming and tournaments hosted at the site and asked the city to act as a steward or partner and provide a staff point of contact and documentation donors can rely on to protect the course from future displacement.
