RSU 57 policy committee reviews multiple G-series policies, advances select items to board

The RSU 57/MSAD 57 Policy Committee used the April 1 meeting to walk through a set of G-series personnel and operational policies. Committee members generally approved minor editorial updates and cross-reference cleanups, and decided which items require board review.
Gbo (staff-employment policy) was discussed with attention to FMLA and related employee-notice language; a committee member moved to send Gbo to the board for a first reading so board members could hear the legal-context changes. Staff also recommended removing an obsolete employee-technology form; the committee voted to bring that removal to the board.
