La Grange Park officials introduced ClickFix, a new platform residents can use to report non-emergency concerns such as potholes, sidewalk defects and street-light outages.
Village manager Julia told the board the system — available through a mobile app or the village website — lets users select a location, provide details and optionally upload photos. "No account is required to submit a request and the platform is available 24/7," Julia said. Users receive notifications as requests are reviewed and addressed.
Staff emphasized the tool is for non-emergency issues; emergencies should continue to be reported to 911. The village said it announced the launch in its ebriefs and will promote the platform to encourage resident engagement and improve service response and tracking.
What comes next: Staff will continue outreach and monitoring to encourage use of the system and provide updates about response times and common request types on village channels.
