The Village of Villa Park Zoning Board of Appeals on Feb. 11, 2026 voted to continue case ZBA25-12-501-5252 to a date certain of March 11, 2026 after the chair said staff did not have the information needed to move forward. The board met in the chambers at 20 South Ardmore Avenue and then approved the minutes of its Jan. 14 meeting before adjourning.
Chair: "Today's process will just be a continuation. We do not have information to move forward on this today," the chair said as the board opened the public hearing and described why the item could not be decided. A committee member then moved "to continue ZBA25-12-501-5252 to the March 11, 2026 meeting," and another member seconded the motion.
A roll-call vote followed; the chair announced the motion passed and that the matter had been continued to March 11, 2026. The roll call recorded Commissioner Acriman as absent; Commissioners Glas, Gonzalez, Jarrett, "K" and Kate were recorded present. The board noted no members of the public were in attendance and the chair closed the public-comment period.
Before the continuance vote, the board took a separate motion to approve the minutes from its Jan. 14, 2026 meeting. That motion was moved and seconded, put to a roll-call vote and approved with no changes recorded.
With no further business, a commissioner moved to adjourn, the motion carried on roll call and the chair closed the meeting, noting the board would reconvene on March 11, 2026.
