The Leverne Planning Commission approved a site-plan application Feb. 24 for Hugo Tire, allowing a 1,200-square-foot indoor storage building and related site improvements at 5378 Murphy'sboro Road in the Murphy'sboro Road architectural overlay district.
Planning staff described the proposed work as moving outdoor tire storage indoors, adding a 1,200 sq ft storage building in a dark‑brown/brick facade consistent with the overlay, reconfiguring parking and access, providing a dumpster location and a sliding gate, and replacing some gravel surfaces with pavement. Staff said elevations comply with overlay standards.
Commissioners voted to approve the plan; the motion was made by Mr. Mohler and seconded by Mr. Greer. The approval allows the applicant to move forward with permitting and building‑permit submittals consistent with the approved site plan.
