Redistricting committee schedules April community input sessions, will convene teacher focus groups

"We've been working with communications to make sure that information is put out to invite anybody that does want to participate in that," Mr. Shepherd said, and added that staff will convene two teacher groups—elementary and secondary—to gather teacher perspectives.
Mr. Shepherd emphasized that the teacher focus groups are being facilitated internally and will not extend the consultant's timeline. "It's nothing that we're going to ask for additional information or additional time from WXY," he said.
The announcement was informational; no committee vote was taken on redistricting at the April 6 meeting.
